Workforce improvement



LEAD is a free program for youthful foreigner ladies that consolidates work availability preparing, cooperation, and administration improvement. Key objectives are to bolster and set up our members for passage or reintegration into the workforce in NYC. We enable them to arrange the move to paying occupations, accomplish independence, and accomplish freedom.

Since the dispatch of LEAD in 2015, we've run 10 arrangement of the program for 99 youthful settler ladies, of which 66 graduated. The New York Public Library has LEAD arrangement twice every year at the Mid-Manhattan and Chatham Square branches.

In December 2016 we propelled LEAD for New Moms, another form of LEAD particularly for youthful migrant moms, offering workforce improvement close by free childcare supported by Project Playdate. Our first program was facilitated by the YMCA on Staten Island.
